commission junction reviews
I tried them a few years ago, and after sending them
thousands of customers (to an eHarmony promotion) and having
their reports says ZERO signups, I got suspicious.
I clicked my own link and signed up myself (this is LEGAL
under their TOS, since I am actually buying something).
Their reports still showed ZERO.
NO response from their customer support. They sent a VP to
Pubcon.com and after she did her song and dance in front of
about 1000 other webmasters, I raised my hand to confront
her about her company's fraud.... but someone else beat me
to the punch with the SAME complaint. She asked us both to
take her business card and contact her directly to resolve
the problem. She did not respond to emails or phone calls.
SUMMARY:
I personally caught Commission Junction in the act of fraud.
To this day I have not been paid a cent, and they are
literally hiding from my emails and phone calls.
use CJ
for one of my sites and I always make a few sales. I get a
consistent check in the mail and their click count seemed to
be accurate to me. |
stopped
using CJ years ago as they treated me poorly. I tend not to
list their programs on my site and generally steer people
away from them.
I do know of some people who get paid OK through CJ. They
tend be the larger high traffic sites that are using offers
from the large brand name merchants. Sometimes if you want
to promote a big brand store then you have no option but to
use CJ.
Luckily there are plenty of good affiliate networks around
that will have good offers to promote. My favourites are
Shareasale, MaxBounty, CPAEmpire, RevenueGateway, and
Clickbank. There is about 100 networks listed on my
Affiliate Networks page on my site. (see Sig).
