money. There are multiple ways to make the domain pay for
itself and if you good give you a nice income.
Google Adsense
this service from Google provide ads to web sites, when someone clicks
on the ad the advertiser pays Google a fee and Google then pays
you a portion of that fee. This is done through Google's
Adword program. These ads come in multiple formats:

Video Ads |
This is the future and hot area of
advertising basically short 30 second videos advertising.

The ads you see along the top and side of
many sites, although they are the least effective ads |

You may see highlighted words in an article
and when your mouse goes over the word an ad pops up.
These can be highly effective if you have decent content on

Affiliates
We have already talked about these a bit and
there is more information on the
affiliate page. Basically this comes in the form of allowing
affiliate advertisers to advertise on your web page.
Yahoo Ads
Similiar to Google's advertising they will pay
a portion of the revenue generated when vistiors to your site
click on the advertisements.
Others
There are a large amount of possible ads,
advertisers, etc. One option to keep in mind is direct
advertsing. If you know of a company that would benefit
from advertising on your page you can setup a deal with them
directly. |
